- Pallavi Daggumati joins the group as a graduate student researcher. She is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She earned her BS degree in Information and Communication Technology at DA-IICT in India and MS degree in Electrical Engineering at Duke University. She will be studying nanostructure-biomolecule interactions for the enhancement of biosensor performance. Welcome, Pallavi!
- Professor Şeker is awarded a UC Lab Fees Grant in collaboration with Dr. Monika Biener at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. This three-year award will focus on the development of miniaturized cell-based sensors that utilize nanostructured electrode-neuron combinations for the detection and identification of neurotoxins.
